Bean Automotive Group has collaborated with various organizations and charities throughout South Florida, focusing on different issues including wildlife conservation, cancer research, families in need, and much more. Out of these charities, the Ocean Reef Community Foundation has been one of the charities Bean Automotive Group has worked with the longest, supporting a number of charities associated with Ocean Reef Club.
Ocean Reef Club is an island community in northern Key Largo that is dedicated to preserving the natural ecosystem around them while maintaining their unique way of life. There are a number of charities on the island that finance a variety of important entities including Ocean Reef’s Medical Center, Cultural Center, Art League, Academy, and the Ocean Reef Conservation Association. In addition, Ocean Reef also supports a number of organizations who serve underprivileged communities in the Upper Keys, Florida City, and Homestead.
Ocean Reef’s residents come together every year to raise money for these charities during their All Charities Weekend. All Charities Weekend began in 2008 with a simple wine sale consisting of donated wines from residents. Now in 2024, All Charities Weekend has a Friday night wine tasting, a silent auction showcase, and a Black Tie Gala with live auction. Since its inception, the Ocean Reef community has raised over $60 million through their All Charities Weekend and various charity golf tournaments.
Bean Automotive Group has been a sponsor for All Charities Weekend for 9 years, donating a new Lexus for the live auction every year. This year, Bean Automotive Group donated a brand new 2024 Lexus RX 350 to the event. This RX is the latest model, with enhanced technology and safety features. The SUV was put on display in front of the Ocean Reef City Hall all weekend to garner excitement for the live auction.
