The village of Palmetto Bay is introducing a new event for residents, especially those who like to cook or eat burgers. The first annual Taste of Palmetto Bay Battle of the Buns burger contest will take place on Apr. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Coral Reef Park, 7895 SW 152 St.
Besides burgers, the event will feature a live concert and fun activities. Mr. Nice Guy will be performing classic rock in the gazebo while community members and businesses are battling it out to win the coveted title of “Best Burger in Palmetto Bay.” Also available will be adult beverages and other food items.
