Keralty Hospital Miami recenty honored the employees that are part of the Human Resources Department during National Healthcare HR Week.
“The Human Resources team is at the forefront of hiring and maintaining excellent personnel,” said Dr. Carlos Cruz, chief operating officer for the hospital. “They educate, motivate, and advocate for our employees, and we are lucky to have such amazing teams.”
This Human Resources team is made up of Marta Otero and Joaquin Sanchez, HR assistants, and is led by Jenny Ricardo, director with more than 21 years of experience.
This team is responsible for more than 500 employees at Keralty Hospital. They maintain credentialing, roll out training sessions, and make sure all employees are exceeding expectations.
When asked about the key to success, Ricardo said, “I have to turn to my favorite quote from Amit Kalantri: ‘The job of human resources is to make sure that resources come to work with their hearts and go back to their homes with happiness.’ That is essentially what we have to strive for when hiring and maintaining employees.”
