Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe A. Martinez conducted a Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway on July 30 at his District 11 office in West Kendall to help ensure children are prepared for their first day of school. More than 700 book bags with school supplies were given to families that came out on a first-come, first-served basis.
