Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe A. Martinez presented a proclamation to Kendall Regional Hospital’s Trauma Center on Mar. 6 in recognition of its designation as a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Kendall Regional’s Trauma Center, which received the Level 1 designation from the Florida Department of Health and the American College of Surgeons, includes a Burn Center with a multidisciplinary team of highly trained specialists with extensive burn experience who are committed to providing exceptional care and support to burn patients and their families.
“I was truly impressed with the level of knowledge, accreditations and customer care specialist that staff this facility,” Commissioner Martinez said after taking a tour of the Trauma Center.
