Kenisha described the numerous community service opportunities she has participated in while training as a Security Officer at Homestead Job Corps Center. Giving back is one of the many benefits the students receive along with their education. Congressman Joe Garcia toured the U.S. Dept. of Labor’s Homestead Job Corps Center (HJCC) on July 2, 2013. He spoke with students pursuing their education and obtaining career technical training in a variety of fields. Homestead Job Corps Center is one of 125 Job Corps Centers nationwide administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor.
