Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has implement edservice adjustments to 13 Metrobus routes.
Route schedules were modified to maximize efficiency and improve overall system reliability as part of the department’s ongoing strategic plans to optimize and innovate Metrobus service. More improvements are slated for this year.
“We are excited about these incremental, strategic steps that will move us toward a significantly improved transit system. We have listened to our riders and added experts and technology to the DTPW team to ensure we continue enhancing service every day,” said Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Improving all aspects of transportation and mobility in our county remains one of our top priorities to build a future ready and well-connected community.”
The following routes have service adjustments effective Mar. 20: Routes 1, 12, 21, 35, 57, 73, B, M, 115 Mid-North Beach Connection, 136, 137 West Dade Connection, 200 Cutler Bay Local, and 207 Little Havana Connection.
The revised schedules have been updated to reflect current traffic conditions. The adjustments made will provide better accuracy and improved service reliability.
