Carrot Express, Mr. & Mrs. Bun and Azúcar Ice Cream Company Open Locations in Downtown Dadeland
Downtown Dadeland is excited to welcome three of Miami’s favorite fast-casual and specialty restaurants to the community. Carrot Express, Mr. & Mrs. Bun, and Azúcar Ice Cream Company all have popular locations in other parts of the city and have now opened in Downtown Dadeland.
“We are excited to welcome new concepts to our vibrant community here at Downtown Dadeland,” said Olga Valdes-Fauli, Property Manager for Downtown Dadeland. “We are lucky to offer our guests plenty of space for safe outdoor dining, as well as many options to allow them to choose from many types of cuisine any time they visit us at Downtown Dadeland.”
Carrot Express (8880 SW 72nd Place) offers healthy meal options to people on the go and people who care about making nutritious food choices that promote a better life. The Downtown Dadeland location opened on January 20th and features an 1800 sq. ft. space with both indoor and outdoor dining options.
“Our mission is to grow into a global brand that promotes a healthy lifestyle by offering fresh, healthy & delicious food handcrafted by people who truly love what they do,” said Partner, Alberto Bassal.
Azúcar Ice Cream Company (8845 SW 72nd Place) is Miami’s home-grown Cuban ice creamery that started in Little Havana and opened in Downtown Dadeland last September. It is an artisanal “farm to cone” ice cream experience, serving up Cuban culture. Azúcar makes ice cream just like abuela used to make it, with only the highest quality ingredients.
Mr. & Mrs. Bun (8975 SW 72nd Place) is a much-loved Peruvian fusion fast-casual concept that makes everything from scratch, love, and passion. They originally opened in West Kendall in April 2015 and now is part of the Downtown Dadeland community as of November 2020. Mr. & Mrs. Bun offers specialty sandwiches, Peruvian favorites, flavored frozen lemonades, mimosa specials and more.
Guests to Downtown Dadeland are asked to continue to wear masks during their visit as we focus on maintaining a safe environment for those who visit the neighborhood.
