Dunkin’ recently to announce it donated 696 pounds of coffee and $6,960 to the local food bank, Feeding South Florida, as result of its partnership with record-breaking basketball player, Duncan Robinson.
The partnership took place during the 2021-22 basketball season where Dunkin’ committed to donating three pounds of coffee and $30 to Feeding South Florida for every three-point scored by Robinson during the season. Robinson made a total of 232 three-pointers.
Dunkin’ hosted a check presentation at Feeding South Florida in Pembroke Park on Aug. 10 alongside Robinson.
“This season held a special significance for me as I knew the points I shot were not only adding up on the scoreboard, but would benefit the communities in South Florida that are in need,” said Duncan Robinson. “I’m proud to have teamed up with Dunkin’ and Feeding South Florida for the chance to help while doing something I love.”
Coffee is a choice for most people, yet for many working families the choice surrounding coffee may not be an option. To ensure a taste of home every morning, Feeding South Florida is happy to reignite its partnership with Duncan Robinson and Dunkin’ to bring coffee along with nutritious food into the homes of the community it serves across Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
