EXPERIENCE A NEW HIGH ENERGY DOG SHOW – CANINE CHAMPIONS FOR CONSERVATION – AT ZOO MIAMI FROM JUNE 8-AUGUST 11, 2024

Zoo Miami proudly presents Canine Champions for Conservation, a new exhilarating dog show at Zoo Miami’s Sami Family Amphitheater from June 8 – August 11, 2024. This high-energy show features a remarkable lineup of rescue dogs that will captivate audiences with their incredible talents and heartwarming stories. The show combines entertainment and education to promote pet adoption and responsible pet ownership.

Each Canine Champions for Conservation show is a visual spectacle, meticulously scripted, choreographed to music, and professionally presented to deliver an unforgettable experience. The dogs in the show are trained using positive methods, utilizing clicker training and toy motivation. This ensures a harmonious bond between the dogs and their trainers, resulting in impressive performances that showcase their unique skills and signature moves.

From awe-inspiring stunt dogs and impressive trick dogs to Frisbee-catching experts: and even a captivating scent detection demonstration, Canine Champions for Conservation offers a diverse range of acts that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. The show is an excellent opportunity to witness these talented canines extraordinary abilities while understanding their vital role in conservation efforts to protect wildlife.

One of the highlights of each show is the chance for guests to interact with the dogs and participate in meet and greets. This provides a memorable experience for children and adults, fostering a deeper appreciation for the incredible bond between humans and dogs.

Canine Champions for Conservation is scheduled to perform at Zoo Miami’s Sami Family Amphitheater at the following show times:

Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays: 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

(Please note: There will be no 3:30 p.m. show on June 22nd due to the zoo closing at 4 p.m.) There are no shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In support of the show’s pet adoption mission, Zoo Miami is happy to partner with Miami-Dade Animal Services to bring out their HOPE Express mobile adoption unit that will be located on the promenade at the main entrance on opening weekend, June 10 and 11 from 11 am to 4 pm.

For the well-being of the animals, please note that pets are not allowed inside the zoo. Rest assured, the trainers and trained dogs in the Canine Champions for Conservation show have been approved by Zoo Miami’s diligent animal care, health, and welfare teams. These teams ensure that all protocols are followed, guaranteeing the health and safety of the animals and the audience.
