The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida will begin its annual sale of Girl Scout Cookies on Jan. 16 across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties and continues through Feb. 17.
The organization has made it easier than ever to find your favorite box of cookies with the “Cookie Locator.” It is as simple as visiting cookielocator.littlebrownie.com or downloading the free Cookie Locator app and entering your zip code. A full list of locations near your area will be generated.
Additionally, more than 400 troops across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties will be selling Girl Scout Cookies to friends, neighbors and community members at booths and going door-todoor.
These cookies include the popular Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Savannah Smiles, Dulce de Leche, and Thank U BerryMunch. These cookies are an icon of American culture and the backbone of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, the leading entrepreneurial program for girls. Each box of cookies costs $4 and the proceeds from the purchase support Girl Scouts in your community.
If you want to help the organization, but don’t want to eat the cookies, they can also be purchased from the Cookies from the Heart Program, which donates the boxes of cookies to the men and women in the military.
The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida Inc. is one of 112 councils nationwide chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA to deliver Girl Scout program within specific geographic boundaries.
