Ford Bronco Diamond Edition is the standard for rugged durability

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you have been having trouble getting your hands on a 2021 Ford Bronco Diamond Edition, you aren’t alone.

This is a beautiful, rugged machine that starts at $36,000. I had the opportunity to drive one — a mustard orange color — that was an eye-stopper. Bright and powerful, I loved its strength and performance. This vehicle gets 20 miles per gallon in the city and 22 on the highway.

This 300-horsepower machine has seating for five and comes in two- and four-door models, both with hard top versions that are molded in color.

I like the soft-top, which makes it possible to open it up any time you want. Although right now it’s pretty hot, the cooler days that are coming are going to make the soft top a must-have as you roll down the city’s roadways.

The look of the 2021 Ford Bronco Diamond Edition is key to its identity, so let’s discuss the features that make it a standout. What is great is that these same features make it safer and resilient.

The available heavy-duty, modular front bumper offers increased protection off-road. More and more, lighting is becoming a way of making your vehicle your own and these features also make it easier to upfit your Bronco with available winches and lighting configuration options.

There also is a steel, bumper that offers protection in the rear of the Bronco, which is standard on Black Diamond Badlands and First Edition, and available on all other Bronco series.

At this point probably everyone has seen commercials for custom flooring mats that are designed to weather any kind of muck and mire. Ford has listened and incorporated rubberized flooring, which is washout capable with drain plugs. That means that post-adventure cleanup is efficient and easy. Part of the reason for that is the marine-grade vinyl seating surfaces that resist mildew and clean up with a wipe.

This is another key to my experience even if I can’t see it. The bash plates underneath offer strong protection to the undercarriage of your Bronco from damage caused by rocks, stumps and other obstacles. We all know that after a hurricane, you can become an accidental adventurer, having to roll over downed trees, flowing water in the roads and other challenges. This 2021 Ford Bronco Diamond Edition is built for this exact type of scenario, so there is no need to worry about road issues.

After all that, the optional eight-inch LCD touchscreen with swipe and enhanced voice recognition seems like icing on this excellent cake. I love this car because it makes me feel like life on the road cannot get better. For me, the 2021 Ford Bronco Diamond Edition is in a league of its own for excellent and performance.
