Jane Forman Sports has presented 15 full scholarships for this summer. Thanks to generous donations from Tutti Bambini and Clarin Eye Care, 15 deserving children will attend 10 weeks of Jane Forman’s Tennis and Swim Camp for free.
Every year, the Dade County Sports Foundation, the nonprofit branch of Jane Forman Sports, partners with local businesses and public school administrators to grant the gift of summer camp to children who may not otherwise have access to recreational sports programs throughout the school year.
“Our mission has always been to promote health and wellness through sports and recreation,” said Jane Forman, director of Jane Forman Sports. “A vital part of that mission involves reaching out to underserved children throughout the community.”
Jane Forman’s Tennis and Swim Camp, promoted as #SummerCamp2014, offers 10 one-week sessions of tennis, swimming, and sports at the Dave and Mary Alper JCC. This summer, the camp is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To learn more or register online, visit www.JaneFormanSports.com.
