Life Time, the nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand, has announced the summer opening of its fourth South Florida location at The Falls, a Simon property, in Miami.
A Preview Center is open at The Falls (between L’Occitane and Yancy) for prospective members to learn more and be among the first to join the highly anticipated club, along with setting up programs with a Life Time Dynamic Personal Trainer to kickstart summer health and wellness goals.
The indoor club and outdoor space, covering nearly 120,000 square feet, was first announced in early 2020 and replaces the former Bloomingdale’s as a ground-up build as part of the 55-acre upscale shopping, dining and entertainment destination. With its depth and breadth of healthy activities and amenities for all ages, Life Time will serve as a new and unique anchor, and traffic driver to The Falls.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding our Life Time presence in South Florida and help more individuals of all ages establish a healthy way of life through our programs and community,” said Jeff Zwiefel, president and chief operating officer at Life Time. “We’re especially delighted to work with the Simon team once again as they create new experiences for their customers here at The Falls. Once open, members and guests will experience:
• Outdoor leisure pool with waterslides, whirlpool and luxury seating with cabanas and an expansive outdoor Life Cafe & Bar;
• Indoor leisure pool and six-lane adult lap pool, and a lap pool for kids;
• Seven dedicated studios for exclusive indoor cycle, group fitness, Pilates and yoga programming;
• Three designated pickleball courts for the casual or avid player with open play, skills and leagues;
• Expansive fitness floor with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated space for one-on-one Dynamic Personal Trainingand small group training including Alpha, GTX and Ultra Fit;
• LT Recovery for athletic performance and recovery featuring metabolic assessments, nutrition coaching, sports and athletic recovery treatments and chiropractic care;
• Kids Academy, for kids ages three months to 11, with five dedicated programming studios, including a kids gym and studios for movement, crafts, homework help and music;
• ARORA programming, classes and events designed to create a community for older adults who want to stay healthy and social;
• LifeCafe, a nutrition-focused, fast-casual cafe featuring a full menu, meals-to-go and grab and go assortments, along with Peet’s coffee, proprietary nutritional supplements and more;
• LifeSpa, a full-service salon and spa for hair, body and nails, and
• Luxurious dressing rooms featuring rejuvenation spa with whirlpools, cold plunge, saunas, steam rooms and complimentary towels and lockers.
The Preview Center is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those who sign up can have immediate access to Life Time Coral Gables as a pre-opening offering, or a digital membership. Life Time Coral Gables is located at the corner of LeJeune Road and S. Dixie Highway.
Life Time has steadily been expanding its presence in South Florida as longtime owner and producer of the famous Miami Marathon, which celebrated its 21st anniversary in January.
