LOANDEPOT PARK ANNOUNCES TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING PLAN FOR WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC GUESTS

Ahead of the start of the must-experience international baseball tournament, LoanDepot park today announces comprehensive transportation and parking plan for the World Baseball Classic. With heavy traffic and congestion anticipated, fans are strongly encouraged to utilize a variety of provided methods of transportation and parking options, which will be the fastest way to get to the LoanDepot park. A WBC Transportation Hub has been established in Downtown Miami at the Government Center, with a parking fee of just $15 that includes a complimentary shuttle service to and from LoanDepot park; hours of operation are as follows: March 11 – 15 from 9 a.m. – 1 a.m., and March 17 – 21 from 3 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The adjoining maps, which are also available at the WBC Transportation Hub, illustrate the various options for guests. LoanDepot park has also partnered with Concept3D to design an interactive digital mapping solution to visually communicate alternative parking solutions from the ease of fans’ mobile device. Parking on site at LoanDepot park is limited for the World Baseball Classic and will be sold on a first come, first-served basis, with no advance parking sales. For guests interested in on-site parking, the fee will be $40 per game, while supply lasts. Those fans looking to park on site at LoanDepot park are strongly encouraged to arrive early, at least two hours prior to first pitch.

“We have worked with Miami Parking Authority and the City of Miami to create a plan that offers off-site parking and shuttle services to give fans additional options, ease congestion around the ballpark, and offer a smoother commute,” said Miami Marlins President of Business Operations Caroline O’Connor. “There is an unmatched energy and excitement for the World Baseball Classic, and with the goal of providing all guests a first-class experience, we urge guests to make their arrival plans in advance.”

For the safety and enjoyment of guests, LoanDepot park has created an expansive transportation and parking plan to assist those traveling from near and far. Additionally, Brightline is offering complimentary shuttle service for guests to and from MiamiCentral Station and loanDepot park during the World Baseball Classic. The World Baseball Classic action runs from March 11-21 at LoanDepot park, starting with Nicaragua vs. Puerto Rico at 12 p.m. and followed by Dominican Republic vs. Venezuela at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. LoanDepot park is the first venue in tournament history to host games in all three rounds. The first round at LoanDepot park features Pool D, which includes 2017 Finalist Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Israel, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
