On May 9, 2018, The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) – Nominations Committee announced the nomination of seven NALEO Members, including School Board Member Lubby Navarro, to their Board of Directors Class of 2021 (a three-year term to begin June 24th, 2018, through June 2021). The Board will hold their elections for the seven nominated NALEO members on June 24, 2018, at NALEO’s 35th Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
NALEO is a national, nonpartisan organization, dedicated to empowering Latinos to participate fully in American democracy.
School Board Member Lubby Navarro serves as the School Board appointee to NALEO, since 2016.
