The 2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53 looks like a beautiful, four-door racecar.
Priced at $102,600, the AMG GT 53 builds on its power. It has a 429 horsepower engine with 348 pound-feet of torque.
In this beauty, a turbo inline-6 is combined with an electric hybrid assist and AMG Performance 4MATIC+, which feels powerful and takes you where you want to go with confidence. To that end, it gets you from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds.
The lightweight, fully beltless engine also is electrified and includes an integrated starter-generator that can supply up to 21 horsepower, allowing fuel-free coasting and a recapture of energy as it decelerates. This leap forward in technology includes a twin-scroll turbo and electric auxiliary compressor.
The 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine delivers 19 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway.
The technology generates sophisticated performance: advanced piezoelectric fuel injectors spray fuel directly into each cylinder with exceptionally precise metering, ultrafine atomization and incredibly quick on/off switching speed. Based on the immediate, individual needs of each cylinder’s combustion cycle, they can supply the ideal fuel spray. Rapid-multispark ignition can fire the fuel mixture up to five times in a single cycle, for stronger and cleaner performance.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 53 has ventilated seats that circulate air through perforations in the seat and backrest. This keeps you cooler and your clothes drier during warmer months. On cold or damp days, using both the ventilation and heating features together can circulate the seat heating more quickly to help keep you warm and dry.
The contoured AMG performance seats feature integrated head restraints and AMG badges, which bring the racecar feel inside. In addition to the customary power adjustments, the substantial side bolsters in the cushion and backrest are also power-adjustable for optimal support.
