The Southeast Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host Miami Great Strides to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis, a progressive, genetic, multi-organ disease that affects 70,000 people worldwide. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for CF and supports a broad range of research initiatives to tackle the disease from all angles. The event will take place on April 6th, 2024, at Zoo Miami.

In 2022, the Foundation funded $265 million in research and care for people with the disease. Money raised at Great Strides and hundreds of events nationwide support the CF Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with CF the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives by funding research and drug development, partnering with the CF community, and advancing high-quality, specialized care.
