The Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is launching a new express route and implementing service adjustments to help improve service reliability, schedules, and performance.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 28, DTPW launched the 837 Express Bus route which runs from the newly opened Tamiami Station Park and Ride/Bus Terminal to Downtown Miami via SR 836/the Dolphin Expressway.
The 837 Express buses will travel on the designated bus-only lanes to by-pass traffic congestion on the Dolphin Expressway during peak service hours, Monday through Friday, providing a more efficient, low-stress alternative to driving while improving mobility and convenience.
The following 20 Metrobus routes had service adjustments beginning Nov. 28: 1, 35, 57, 73, 77, 93, 99, 102(B), 107(G), 110(J), 113(M), 119(S), 120, 136, 137, 210, 248, 267, 277 and 297.
The revised schedules have been updated to reflect current traffic conditions. The adjustments made provide better accuracy and improve service reliability.
Additionally, the 95 Golden Glades Express will have trips restored to the schedule.
Miami-Dade Transit riders can view more details regarding the upcoming service adjustments on DTPW’s website.
