The countdown is on. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR), a world-renowned, Class 1 fire department and the sixth largest in the nation, is opening its firefighter recruitment process for a limited time.

Now until Aug. 11, individuals with a passion for public service, grit, and a heart for helping others are encouraged to apply online at www.miamidade.gov/jobs.

This is a rare and highly competitive opportunity — the chance to join MDFR’s elite ranks only comes around once every three years.
