Ocaquatics Swim School’s Eureka location will host a special event celebrating Miami Climate Week on Friday, Mar. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is described as a family-friendly gathering that will highlight the importance of environmental responsibility, encouraging the community to take action in protecting the planet.
The event is open free to the public. Ocaquatics Eureka Swim School is located at 11101 SW 176 St., Miami, FL 33157, near Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay.
Miren Oca, founder and CEO of Ocaquatics, explained why the event is important.
“At Ocaquatics, we believe that small actions create big change,” Oca said. “We are proud to partner with our nonprofit, Ripples of Impact, to bring families together for Miami Climate Week. This event is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation to care for our planet.
“We’re excited to provide hands-on activities and free seedlings, helping families take home a piece of sustainability they can nurture. Together, we can make a lasting impact, one ripple at a time,” Oca added.
The event will feature a Ripples of Impact Sustainability Pod, an interactive exhibit designed to spark conversations and inspire action. The event also will feature environmental education activities and conservation-themed games.

“Ocaquatics is more than a swim school — it’s a force for good in Miami and beyond,” Oca said. “As a proud member of 1% For the Planet and a certified carbon neutral business, Ocaquatics continues to lead with sustainable practices and community-focused initiatives.”
The company regularly participates in back-to-school supply drives, food drives, community cleanups, and electronics recycling programs. Ocaquatics empowers its team members to give back by allowing them to select a charitable organization to receive a donation in honor of their birthday and employment anniversary.
