Ocean Bank lends $4.5 million for shopping plaza renovation

Ocean Bank recently announced it has loaned $4.5 million to Westchester Point Plaza LLC and principals Vanessa and Jacqueline Goenaga for renovation of the facility.

Westchester Point Plaza, located at 8300 SW Eighth St., has 65,219 square feet of retail space on a three-acre parcel.

Tenants include several medical and dental offices, restaurant, jeweler, spa, pet grooming center and banquet hall. The center features surface and rooftop parking.

“Westchester Point Plaza has tremendous visibility along a highly trafficked stretch of SW Eighth Street,” said Alvaro Luis, senior vice president and corporate relationship manager.

“We were very happy to be able to provide the necessary capital in order to beautify this community asset.”
