The Cincinnati Enquirer noted her “effortless virtuosity” and the Miami Herald cited her “light touch and softly pointed phrasing” regarding her prior Miami performance of the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 with the late Leon Fleisher conducting.

Among Naplekova’s many achievements are top prizes at competitions held in America including the Olga Kern International Piano Competition, Hilton Head International Piano Competition, and Wideman International Piano Competition.

Outside of the United States, she has won top prizes at the Ignacy Paderewski Piano Competition in Poland, the International Piano Competition in memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Ukraine, and the International Piano Competition Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem in Morocco, among others.

Naplekova earned her doctoral degree in piano performance and pedagogy from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, where she studied with pianist Santiago Rodriguez, whose own recordings of Rachmaninoff’s works are globally acclaimed.
