Player of the week first half of season report

The Miami Touchdown Club has recognized several high school football players from Miami-Dade County for their exceptional leadership on and off the field, awarding them the Operation Scholarship “Player of the Week” honor for the first half of the football season.

These awards highlight young athletes who demonstrate not only athletic prowess but also strong character.

Ronnie Thornton, a linebacker from South Dade High School, was among those honored.

Jamar Johnson from Somerset High School, known for playing multiple positions, also received the award. Andre Bailey, a quarterback from Miami Palmetto, who also plays various roles on the field, was recognized for his contributions. Ryan Dopazo from Westminster Christian High School, another versatile player, was named a Player of the Week. Justin Rolle and Jamar Lewis, who play at the Kendall Boys and Girls Club, were acknowledged for their performances. Additionally, Trevarouis Bain and Tedarius Hughes from Miami Northwestern High School were recognized for their outstanding play. Also Cleveland Gary III and Jordan Wooden.

These individuals represent the Miami Touchdown Club’s commitment to celebrating youth football talent and leadership in the community.
