A year after opening his Pinecrest-based practice, acupuncturist Blake Estape, DiplOM, has doubled the size of Miami Acupuncture and Herbal Solutions (MiamiAcuSolutions.com).
The practice is still located at 9719 S. Dixie Hwy., but has moved to more spacious office, Suite 1.
“We’ve doubled the number of treatment rooms,” said Estape, who spent 10 years in China learning authentic Chinese acupuncture and is a graduate of Miami Killian High School. “I’ll still be able to provide the personal, individualized attention my patients have come to expect, but with two treatment rooms we’ll be able to see more patients during peak hours. It’s all about convenience for the patient.”
In addition to the expansion of his practice, Estape is continuing his informative and popular “Acupuncture Answers” presentation to South Florida civic organizations.
Titled “Old Medicine for a New Age” Estape’s presentation provides background on acupuncture and its quantified successes. As part of the presentation, Estape displays acupuncture needles to show how small his instruments of healing actually are.
“It’s vital that people know more about acupuncture and how it can work in conjunction with Western medicine and a healthy lifestyle to bring about healing,” Estape said.
“Acupuncture has been around for more than 3,000 years and many hospitals now recognize the positive benefits of this ancient, proven healing technique. The World Health Organization recommends acupuncture and even Medicare covers some procedures.”
