Rojas, Colucci to lead Miami-Dade School Board

Board menber Mari Tere Rojas has been re-elected to chair the Miami-Dade County School Bord for the coming year.

A veteran educator with more than 45 years in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, she was first elected to the school board in 2016 and now is serving her third term as representative for District 6. This is her second time as chair.

Board member Monica Colucci, who represents District 8, was elected as vice chair. An educator for over 26 years, she was elected to the school board in November 2022. This is her first time as vice chair.
