On Friday, March 8, 2024, School Board Member Mary Blanco, District 7, and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez, District 11, hosted a Movie Night event at Wild Lime Park, featuring the children’s movie Trolls Band Together.
The family event brought together the District 7 and District 11 communities for an evening of fun and laughter. It was an amazing night under the Miami sky as students, families and community members enjoyed a funny movie in the outdoors while snacking on some popcorn and snow cones.
“It is a true joy for me to host events like this for our students. Creating opportunities for families and communities to come together is a goal Commissioner Gonzalez and I share,” said Board Member Blanco. “I would like to thank everyone for coming. We look forward to many more family events in the near future.”
