Seraphic Fire to release17th album in time for ChristmasJust in time for the holiday season, Seraphic Fire’s 17th studio album, The Apple Tree: Christmas with Seraphic Fire, will be available to purchase and stream on all major platforms on Nov. 17.

James K. Bass, the conductor of the album, said of the project, “One of the goals we were trying to achieve on the new Christmas recording was to capture the intimate atmosphere the audience experiences when they walk into the candlelit sanctuary surrounded by 13 a cappella voices singing such magnificent and meaningful music.”

The 17th recording from South Florida’s Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble Seraphic Fire will continue the professional vocal ensemble’s tradition of bringing peaceful, tuneful contemplation to listeners, near and far. From Praetorious’s double choir setting of In dulci jubilo and Gottfried Wolter’s spine-tingling Maria durch ein Dornwald ging, to the elegant treble-voice verse and luxurious ending canon of the title track Jesus Christ the Apple Tree, this new recording hopes to introduce new settings of old melodies that will become instant classics in your Christmas soundscape.

Produced by Seraphic Fire founder and artistic director Patrick Dupre Quigley, The Apple Tree: Christmas with Seraphic Fire is the ensemble’s fourth Christmas album, preceded by Candlelight Carols, Silent Night, and the Grammy-nominated A Seraphic Fire Christmas.

The album will be released on Nov. 17 on all major music platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music. CDs may be pre-ordered on ArkivMusic.com and digital albums may be pre-ordered on PrestoMusic.com.
