Soccer 5 expands with new fields at Kendall Soccer Park

Soccer 5 USA continues to grow its soccer field operations in South Florida with a $350,000 expansion at its Kendall Soccer Park location, 8011 SW 127 Ave.

Over the Labor Day weekend, Soccer 5 opened two new, small-sided soccer playing fields to accommodate larger teams — one field will accommodate “7vs7” games, and the other will accommodate “6vs6” games.

In addition, the new fields will include new, state-of-the-art, on-demand “My Action Replay” technology, which captures on demand the previous 20 seconds of play, assisting coaches and players in reviewing plays and athlete’s technique. What makes this technology different is that instead of reviewing footage of an entire game until you find the play you want, the technology allows you to call out a registered command and it will automatically register the last 20 seconds of play, for viewing directly on your smart phone or tablet, and at your convenience.

Soccer 5 USA will roll out the technology to other locations and existing fields in phases. Additional new fields are currently in design for construction at Soccer 5 USA’s Amelia Earhart Park and Tropical Park locations. Once construction is completed, Soccer 5 USA’s total investment in small-sided soccer facilities in Miami- Dade County will exceed $3 million.

“Soccer 5 is invested in building quality soccer field facilities in Miami-Dade County,” said Soccer 5 USA president Scott Georgeson. “The addition of ‘My Action Replay’ technology sets our fields apart locally, and appeals to both adult and youth players, helping them improve their game while at the same time having fun.” For more information on Soccer 5 USA, its programs and facilities, visit www.soccer5usa.com.
