The program kicks off with a performance by Locos Por Juana, a band renowned for its dynamic energy and a fusion of musical styles that include cumbia, reggae, salsa, and rock. With Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations under their belt, Locos Por Juana is guaranteed to deliver a performance that electrifies.

Following this, viewers will be treated to the incredible talent of Kaylan Arnold, a South Florida-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Arnold’s genre-defying vocal talent pays homage to her Haitian and Belizean roots, offering a deeply personal and captivating musical experience.

Soundwaves a the Bandshell is hosted by Cuci Amador. Cuci is an electro funk singer that fronts Miami’s electro-funk band Afrobeta. The band was the subject of the Emmy-winning documentary, Birthright!? which explores the band’s first-time journey to Cuba. Besides her musical prowess, Cuci is also a talented producer and television host.

Soundwaves at the Bandshell allows us to share the excitement coming from the stage at the Miami Beach Bandshell. We are always striving to build & strengthen the diverse communities of South Florida through our work,” said Rhythm Foundation Director James Quinlan, “Our hope with the series is to broaden the reach of the incredible cultural programming we offer, showcase our homegrown talent, and inspire and connect our local communities.
