THE 42nd ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MIAMI ON SATURDAY, MARCH 9TH, NOON – 6 PM

The Festival will present a full range of Entertainment and Refreshments—a U2 Tribute Band, The St. Andrews Pipe & Drum Band, more Irish Music, Irish Step Dancing, Arts & Crafts & Plenty of Refreshments

The St. Patrick’s Day Committee, Inc. is once again producing Miami-Dade’s largest St. Patrick’s Festival on Saturday, March 9th from noon to 6 pm at 11919 SW 56 Street (German American Social Club). There will be bagpipers, a U-2 Tribute Band called Wide Awake, Irish music, the St. Andrews Pipe & Drum Band, dancers, food, a variety of crafts, a rides for kids and loads of fun. It is free and open to the public. There is no admission charge.

The 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival will feature a host of entertainers for all ages including the U2 Tribute band Wide Awake, Paddy Kelleghan and the St. Andrews Pipe and Drum Band. There will be a full range of arts and crafts for sale, face painting for kids of all ages, a variety of Irish and other kinds of food, beer and a full bar.

The Overarching Sponsor, Williamson Automotive Group, returns to the Festival and will feature several 2024 vehicles. Sarah Kavanaugh, the Consul General of Ireland in Miami and the Vice Consul, Dara Mac Gabhann, will be introducing Jennifer Carroll Mac Neill, the Minister of State at the Dept. of Finance in Ireland.  A representative of Miami-Dade County is also expected to attend.

The St. Patrick’s Day Committee, Inc. has combined family-oriented entertainment and a variety of palate-pleasing delectables such as traditional corned beef & cabbage sandwiches, Irish soda bread, and whiskey cakes as well as a wide array of spirits and other beverages. There will be shopping opportunities for Irish crafts, jewelry, jams, plants, honey and other unique items. Rounding out the day’s festivities, are Irish dancers from the Breffni Academy of Dance and the Miss Colleen Pageant which invites little lassies ages 4-14 to be presented on stage. For families with children, they can enjoy the giant slide and rock-climbing wall for free.

For 42 years, the St. Patrick’s Day Committee, Inc. has organized a St. Patrick’s Day Parade or Festival which is held on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day.  The event is produced by the St. Patrick’s Day Committee Inc. with the support of our Overarching Sponsor: Williamson Cadillac and Buick/GMC; the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners.
