The Berry Farm is thrilled to present its first-ever BBQ Cook-Off &  Showdown, a premier three-part BBQ competition series bringing together seasoned pitmasters,  amateur BBQ enthusiasts, and families who simply love great food. This flavorful, family friendly event promises fierce competition, mouth-watering BBQ, and plenty of entertainment  across three exciting dates: November 17, January 19, and April 6.

This one-of-a-kind series features a distinct culinary challenge for each event, allowing BBQ  chefs to demonstrate their skills and creativity:

  • November 17 – Full Pig Roast (50lb pig, any style)
  • January 19 – Brisket (any style)
  • April 6 – Ribs (St. Louis cut) and a mystery meat (provided by The Berry Farm)

Each challenge runs from noon to 5 pm and is carefully curated to showcase the best of BBQ  craftsmanship, with a unique focus at each event. In addition to the thrilling cook-offs, visitors  can enjoy BBQ specialties and dishes available for purchase throughout each event, sampling a  wide range of flavors prepared by both competitors and local vendors.

“This BBQ Cook-Off & Showdown is about much more than just competition,” says Karl  Wiegandt, Owner of The Berry Farm. “It’s a celebration of the community, the art and love of  BBQ, and a chance to bring together families and friends for a shared experience of food and  fun.”

Tickets for each event date are available on The Berry Farm’s website, and admission includes  access to the competition as well as all the farm’s regular amenities, including shaded play areas,  scenic grounds, hayrides, and more. Limited spots remain for competitors eager to take on the  BBQ challenge and showcase their skills for a chance to win cash prizes and trophies, with  additional recognition awarded to grand champions at the series finale.
