The “West End Living” mobile app recently received an upgrade, with a new look and several added features to give residents more useful information at their fingertips.
The app, available for free in the iTunes store and Google Play, was launched by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Juan Zapata in January to provide residents with information about upcoming community events, featured businesses, Miami-Dade County parks, public transportation, and county services of interest to West End residents.
The new features include direct access to the county’s 311 Call Center, exclusive deals of the day, and integration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ mobile application to let users view important school information including school lunches.
“The new and improved West End Living app will offer residents a one-stop shop for a host of information to make their lives easier and get them more engaged in the community,” Commissioner Zapata said.
