West Kendal Baptist Hospital, 9555 SW 162 Ave., recently partnered with the COPD Foundation and Alpha 1 Foundation for the first Breathe Strong Educational Day. This collaboration helped raise awareness about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency for the first-ever Breathe Strong Educational Day in the area.
