Miami-based Ocaquatics Swim School invites the community to join its Splash Day celebration with West Kendall Baptist Health on Sunday, May 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Swimmers and team members will gather for free family- and health-focused fun. Activities include water safety tips, swimming readiness evaluations, health screenings, a bounce house, food trucks, and CPR instruction. “Since 1960, Baptist Hospital of Miami has been one of the most respected medical centers in South Florida,” said Ocaquatics Director, Miren Oca. “Together we hope to educate our Miami community and provide a day filled with health information and fun. Ocaquatics Swim School is committed to teaching swimming lessons with water safety components for its families and our Miami community. We focus on the ‘Safer 3 Message’ from Stop Drowning Now Water Safety Foundation, As the summer season approaches, we are determined to continue spreading crucial life-saving knowledge to both children and adults in our community to help them be safer in, on, or around water.”
