Leading Miami-based commercial real estate owners and developers MAS^AJP and equity partner OCTA celebrated the grand opening of The Contemporary, the first modern senior living facility in the Westchester suburban community of Miami, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 26.
The Miami-Dade County Office of the Mayor and Board of County Commissioners presented The Contemporary with a certificate to mark the occasion.
The celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by city leaders and The Contemporary’s first depositor, while guests enjoyed live entertainment, complimentary light bites, and giveaways. Attendees also were given the opportunity to tour the community, including common areas and apartments within The Contemporary, and each left with a gift bag.
Managed by Charter Senior Living, a nationally recognized senior care and assisted living organization, The Contemporary will provide senior residents in South Florida with premier amenities and convenient services in an effort to ensure a worry-free lifestyle. The living spaces include a mix of one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments with open floor plans and modern features.
Nestled on a beautiful, six-acre campus with shaded walking paths and trails, the community includes thoughtfully designed gathering spaces, indoor lounges, casual dining options, a state-of-the-art fitness center and other upmarket amenities.
