Friendship Circle held a Wine Tasting Event on Wednesday, April 25 at the site of the organization’s future ‘Friendship Campus,’ one of the largest nonprofit facilities in South Florida upon completion.
Dignitaries, notable philanthropists, and board members in attendance included Tracey Berkowitz, David Evensky, Michele Kaplan, Stacy Bolduc, Claudia Potamkin, Robert Josefsberg, Barbara Silverman, and John Kozyak. David Evensky’s wealth management firm, Evensky & Katz / Foldes was the Presenting Sponsor, TD Bank served as the Tasting Sponsor, and Sunset Corners was the Uncorked Sponsor.
As background, Friendship Circle is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering friendship and acceptance to individuals with special needs. As a leading South Florida organization for more than 15 years, Friendship Circle provides dynamic programming and resources that greatly impact the community and foster a sense of belonging.
The organization’s new campus, expected to be completed in 2023, will provide an expansive footprint for increased programming (baking, cooking, life skills classes, on-site therapies, music, enhanced arts & crafts courses), meeting spaces where parents can connect and share resources, and service more children and young adults with special needs, harvesting a sense of community and belonging for the entire community.
