Woman’s Club’s event combines art, community and philanthropy
Attending the “Reflections” art exhibit are members and friends of Doral West Dade Woman’s Club (l-r) Carmen Siman, Maria Jose, Nadya Gribanova, Gloria Burns, Liz Wiegandt, Claudia Bailey and Maria Prado.

The February edition of the art exhibition, Reflections, at InterContinental at Doral Miami brought together art, community, and philanthropy for an inspiring evening.

The Doral West Dade Woman’s Club (DWDWC) supported the event and was present throughout the evening, engaging with guests and celebrating the vibrant local arts scene.

As part of their participation, the club members hosted a silent auction during the exhibition, adding a charitable element to the experience and inviting attendees to support their ongoing community initiatives while enjoying the work of talented local artists.

Working with The Women Voice Network and DORCAM, the club’s first outreach effort was held shortly after they incorporated in September 2025 with a fundraiser where the club also did a silent auction to support WVN and its mission of economically empowering women who are victim of domestic violence and human trafficking.

Next up for the club will be a trip on Apr. 25, out of International Mall, on a luxury bus to Boynton Beach to experience the Titanic Immersive Voyage exhibit at South Florida PBS.

Tickets, at $150 per person, include transportation, party on way up and back with food, games and prizes and, of course, the experience. Tickets to the show. are almost sold out.

Funds from the event will benefit future club projects and charitable outreach programs with a mission of making a positive impact on the community.

DWDWC president Gloria Burns encourages women who want to serve the community and be a part of this exciting new club to contact the club’s second vice president and membership chair Nadya Gribanov at ngribano@gmail.com. The club currently meets the second Wednesday of the month, noon-1 p.m., at the offices of NMG Consulting, with other activities throughout each month.
