Zoo Miami Foundation (ZMF) is pleased to announce the appointment of three distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors: Ron Aberman, Sara Nainzadeh, and Ana Veiga Milton. Each of these individuals bring a wealth of experience and a passion for community service that will help propel the Foundation into an exciting new era of growth.

Ron Aberman has extensive corporate leadership experience as a Member of Accenture’s Executive Committee and Global Leadership Council. He serves as America’s Chief Sales Officer, leading a $45 billion business development organization. Before joining Accenture in 2011, Ron worked in private equity, IBM, and two West Coast startups. With a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, he has lived and worked in Miami, Chicago, and New York. Ron is actively involved in academia, serving on the Fordham University Business School Board and the University of Miami Business School Advisory Board, where he teaches courses on consulting, technology sales, and analytics. His expertise in business development and strategic growth will be instrumental in advancing the Foundation’s goals.

Ana Veiga Milton, a long-time supporter of Zoo Miami Foundation, has a rich history with the organization since 1995. Having previously served as Chair of the Board from 2014-2016, Ana has reengaged with ZMF during this transformative time. As Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for United Property Management and President of the José Milton Foundation, Ana is a recognized leader in philanthropy. Her work focuses on closing the opportunity gap in South Florida through healthcare access, research, and education. Additionally, she serves on various nonprofit boards, including the Jackson Health Foundation (past-Chair), Red Cross Miami, United Way Miami, and the University of Miami Citizens Board. Ana’s unwavering commitment to conservation and STEM education makes her an invaluable asset to Zoo Miami Foundation’s mission.

Sara Nainzadeh is a seasoned financial expert with a background in investment management. She previously served as a portfolio manager at Millennium Management, overseeing global energy, utilities, and industrials portfolio. After a brief sabbatical, she recently joined Verition Fund, leading a team focused on consumer, energy, transport, and utilities. Originally from New York City, Sara relocated to Miami in 2021 and is actively engaged in philanthropy, sponsoring scholarships for underprivileged students studying arts subjects at the University of Rochester. A competitive tennis player and advocate for education, Sara’s financial acumen and passion for the Miami community will be a tremendous asset to Zoo Miami Foundation.
