The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the 4th Annual Badass Women of the Year Awards (BWOTY 2024), sponsored by City National Bank. This prestigious event is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the incredible achievements of businesswomen who are not only excelling in their careers but are also breaking through glass ceilings in industries traditionally dominated by men.
Join us for a spectacular brunch event on Friday, August 23, at Jungle Island, starting at 11 AM. Hosted by the Women’s Business Council, you’ll have the opportunity to network with C-level profession-elles and hear from a lineup of exciting guest speakers. This is a unique chance to celebrate the extraordinary women in our community who are making significant strides in their respective fields.
We are calling for nominations of exceptional women excelling and breaking barriers in their industries. The categories for nominations are as follows:
- Arts, Culture, & Media
- Construction, Real Estate, & Development
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Finance
- Healthcare, Wellness, & Science
- Hospitality
- Law/ Government (Non-elected positions)
- Non-Profit
- Sports
- Transportation & Aviation
- Women In Business (Business Owners and/or Professionals not in the aforementioned industries)
- Young Women In Excellence (Women under age 35)
The nomination deadline is August 2nd. We invite you to nominate the incredible women in your life and community who are making an impact and breaking barriers. Your nominations will help us honor and amplify the voices of those who are shaping the future for women in business.
In addition to recognizing these trailblazers, a $1,000 donation will be made in each winner’s name to a vetted non-profit organization that supports women and girls. This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering an environment of support and empowerment for women in all spheres of life.
