Chef Chris Valdes and Loews Miami Beach Hotel have teamed up once more to create a culinary extravaganza just for foodies! The invitation only event hosted by media personality Alexandra Martin on Wednesday, February 22nd, will feature mouthwatering signature dishes from Chef Chris as well as other tasty bites and delicious desserts. Additional partners for the event include SelvaRey, Florida Dairy Farmers, Funky Buddha, Josh Wines, R Catering and arely PR.
“Fresh off my duties as host and judge of ¡Que Delicioso! on Roku Channel, I am thrilled to return for the second edition of EATZ where us foodies get to celebrate and enjoy the one thing that brings us all together in this world, FOOD!” said Valdes. “It is an honor to collaborate with such a prestigious hospitality group and other chefs during the Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival® week”.
Valdes will also be participating in South Beach Wine and Food Festival’s Tacos and Tequila presented by Tequila Cazadores and hosted by Danny Trejo on Saturday, February 25th.
Chris Valdes is a Latin American chef, television personality, author, philanthropist, and celebrity caterer. Through his culinary expertise, Chris has embraced many cultures, fusing Caribbean flavors with modern influences to create a host of iconic dishes. His latest television venture was as host and judge of ¡Que Delicioso! – the inaugural Spanish language original series on the Roku Channel, a seven-episode competition celebrating Latin cuisine which he hosted alongside Mexican-born Chef Marcela Valladolid. Additionally, being a finalist on “Food Network Star” and “Star Salvation,” introduced Chef Chris to a national audience and led to him being featured on the cover of several magazines and appearing on various national television shows. Valdes is now a frequent guest on “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan” and has also been featured on Food Network’s “Chopped” and “The Sherri Shepherd Show.”
