Do you want to be a part of Miami Beach history? Vote in the upcoming August 14 Special Election; the two issues voters will address are a proposed 1% visitor tax increase to fund renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the authority of city commission member majority to call special meetings.
Not going to be in town for the election? Want to make sure you vote in this election? Not a problem. Absentee ballots can be requested from your Supervisor of Elections in person, via telephone or mail, or at https://www.electionsfl.org/VoterInfo.
