French-Moroccan Psych-Rock Visionaries Bring Their Electrifying Sound to Miami Beach on
April 12, 2026

The Miami Beach Bandshell welcomes the acclaimed French-Moroccan psych-rock group Bab L’ Bluz for their Florida debut on Sunday, April 12, 2026. Known for their transcendent fusion of Gnawa rhythms, Saharan blues, rock psychedelia, and ’70s analog grit, Bab L’ Bluz has emerged as one of the most exciting global bands of the decade.
Formed in 2018 by Moroccan singer-guitarist Yousra Mansour and French guitarist/producer Brice Bottin, the group was born from a shared passion for Gnawa music and vintage psych-rock. Joined by Lyon-based musicians Jérôme Bartholomé and Hafid Zouaoui, the band first turned heads with a powerful debut performance live on Radio Nova, followed by a series of standout European festival appearances.
Their debut album, released in 2020 on Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records, became an international sensation—hailed by Mojo (Top 10 World Albums of the Year), Songlines (Best Albums of 2020), The New York Times, Vogue Arabia, BBC, Le Monde, Pan African Music, Uncut, Financial Times, Radio Nova, and more.
Many U.S. audiences first encountered Bab L’ Bluz during their electrifying, heavy-as-metal 2025 KEXP Live Session, which went viral for its hypnotic grooves and explosive musicianship, or during their subsequent U.S. tour of clubs and independent venues. Now, they bring their groundbreaking sound to Miami Beach for the first time.
Expect a night of fiery riffs, trance-inducing rhythms, and a deep, joyful celebration of North African and global musical heritage—performed live at one of the country’s most iconic outdoor venues.
