Ballyhoo Media is working with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce to serve the community through its small business grant.
Ballyhoo Media, a locally-owned water-based advertising agency, is proud to announce its new Growing Together grant to support and empower local companies. As part of this program, Ballyhoo Media will provide four weeks of free advertising to small businesses in the Aventura, Bal Harbor, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach, Haulover Beach, Hollywood Beach, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, and Surfside areas.
Recognizing the pivotal role small businesses play in the community, Ballyhoo Media is committed to giving back and supporting their growth. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small business owners, Adam Shapiro, President of Ballyhoo Media, is passionate about empowering other entrepreneurs. “As the President and Co-owner of a family-operated small business, I understand first-hand how important it is to get the word out about your business,” says Shapiro. “At Ballyhoo, we consciously work every day to utilize our innovative platforms as an economic development tool for local small businesses. We are only as powerful as the community we’re in. Ultimately, their success is our success.”
Over the years, Ballyhoo Media has contributed over $1.5 M in advertising space, solidifying its commitment to positively impacting the local economy. Their fleet of American-made digital billboard boats has empowered businesses, from Fortune 500s to local mom-and-pop storefronts, making waves with unique advertising, experiential campaigns, and activations.
Jerry Libbin, President and CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce said, “Our Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner once again with Ballyhoo Media in this initiative to assist small businesses, many of whom are still struggling to overcome the impact that the pandemic has had on their bottom line. An initiative such as this, offered by Ballyhoo Media, demonstrates that Ballyhoo clearly has the right corporate attitude.”
Recipients of the Growing Together: Small Business Grant will benefit from their company’s message receiving millions of impressions over a four-week period. The visibility includes high-rise residential and office spaces, public parks, highways, walking paths, and beaches, along the intercoastal waterways from Fort Lauderdale to Surfside. Additionally, they will receive marketing consulting services not limited to ad design, vibrant photography, and cinematic drone footage of their floating advertisement to use across digital mediums and social platforms.

● Have a physical business address located within the following city limits: Aventura, Bal Harbor, Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Golden Beach, Hallandale Beach, Haulover Beach, Hollywood Beach, Miami Beach, Sunny Isles, and Surfside
● Have between 1-50 employees

The Growing Together Small Business is powered through Ballyhoo’s Coastal Community Collective (C3) initiative. The C3 program amplifies messaging from municipal partners, non-profits, local ocean conservation groups, and small businesses in a big way.
