Today, Brian Ehrlich, longtime Miami Beach resident, civic leader, and candidate for City Commission Group 1, submitted petitions to qualify for the November 4, 2025 ballot. Surpassing the 856-petition requirement, Ehrlich’s campaign submitted an impressive 1,284 petitions, reflecting broad support from neighbors across every corner of Miami Beach. Ehrlich is the only candidate in the race to file by petition.
Brian Ehrlich said: “I’ve knocked on doors and spoken with people in every corner of our city. Collecting 1,284 petitions shows that our support is real, built neighbor to neighbor. Together, we can make Miami Beach a safer, stronger, and more affordable community for everyone.”
Ehrlich has lived in Miami Beach for more than 20 years and brings a unique blend of civic and professional experience. His public service includes roles on the City’s Historic Preservation Board, Board of Adjustment, Cultural Arts Council, and the Capital Improvement Project Oversight Committee. He has also served on the Executive Board of Trustees of the Bass Museum of Art, where he is Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee.
Professionally, Ehrlich has led transformative projects in Miami Beach and Wynwood, grown a real estate tech startup, and founded his own company. With a background spanning real estate, finance, and community advocacy, Ehrlich is committed to delivering results for residents and ensuring Miami Beach remains a place where families and businesses can thrive.
The election for Miami Beach City Commission will take place on November 4, 2025.
