City of Miami Beach Extends State of Emergency DeclarationThe City Manager has extended the city’s State of Emergency Declaration and Emergency Measures through August 5, 2020. Effective as of 7:59 p.m. tonight, the curfew in the Mixed Use Entertainment District (MXE) and Washington Avenue will revert to 10 p.m. pursuant to the County curfew.

Any violation of the emergency measures shall subject the individual, operator, business entity, or organization to arrest and criminal prosecution pursuant to Section 26-36 and Section 1-14 of the City Code. Furthermore, any violation of the provisions of this Order may subject an operator, business entity, or organization to the closure of the establishment for a period of at least 24 hours, or through the duration of the State of Emergency.
