On Friday, March 10th, Blended Canadian Whisky Collingwood Whisky hosted an intimate, seated multi-course family style dinner and whisky pairing at Cibo Wine Bar in South Beach to celebrate “Women Who Whisky.”
Led by Collingwood’s North American Brand Ambassador, Alexis Green, the all-female-driven event ditched the fruity cocktails and was designed to explore the various Canadian-based whisky flavors Collingwood offers (particularly it’s unique Maplewood finish without the typical whisky burn) while finding out what makes them unique, basically breaking the stereotype that whisky is masculine drink, and focus more about the taste than gender!
Prior to the dinner, guests were greeted with Collingwood specialty welcome cocktails including Whisky mojitos, Collingwood Sur and Tom Collingwood.
Dinner began shortly after the cocktail where guests then sipped on perfect whisky pairings while dining on delicious dishes from Cibo Wine Bar’s Italian menu including Prosciutto & Formaggio Platter, Fried Zucchini & Artichokes, Melanzane, Parmigiano Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi, Pollo Mattone, Tonno Scottato, and the delectable Chef’s Selection Dessert Platter.
Friendly female faces exchanged contacts as the evening ended, fostering new connections and new friends. Guests were also gifted with a Collingwood whisky glass and other branded necessities.
