David Richardson represents District 113 in the Florida House of Representatives. He is in Tallahassee to redirect wasteful spending in the state budget in order to improve schools, health care, and protect the environment.

Richardson and his family moved to Florida when he was 10 years old. After completing high school, he attended the University of Central Florida, earning two degrees: Biology and Accountancy. Upon graduating he worked as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Defense and earned an MBA from University of Tampa. As a CPA, he worked for Ernst & Young, all the while continuing to develop his expertise in the area of government accounting and finance. In 1993, David pursued his dream of starting a small advisory services firm focused on accounting and finance issues relating to government contracts.

In the summer of 2012 he ran for and won his seat in House of Representatives and was re-elected in 2014. He has worked to move issues forward for Florida’s LGBT community, encouraged FDOT to re-open the roadway re-construction design for Alton road in Miami Beach and is looking forward to serving a third term.

For Florida State House of Representatives District 113, Community Newspapers recommends David Richardson.
