Serving as your Miami Beach City Commissioner for Group 2 has been one of the greatest honors of my life. When I was first elected in 2022, I made a commitment to put residents first, ensuring that our city government is responsive, effective, and accountable. That’s why I am excited to announce my campaign for re-election, because while we have made significant progress, there is still more work to do.

When I stepped into this role, I did so with a deep passion for public service and a vision for a safer and stronger future for Miami Beach. My late partner, Commissioner Mark Samuelian, and I shared a deep commitment to our city, advocating for residents and working to build a community that reflects our shared values. Though we may not have agreed on every issue, we were always aligned on what matters most – keeping Miami Beach safe, resilient, and clean, and putting residents first. I am proud to continue carrying that vision forward today.

Public safety has always been one of my top priorities for Miami Beach. As Chair of the Public Safety and Neighborhoods Quality of Life Committee, I have expanded resources for our police department to hold bad actors accountable and ensure officers have the tools they need to restore order in key areas of our city. Under my leadership, we have cracked down on crime, improved enforcement during peak tourism seasons, and implemented strategies to make our neighborhoods safer.

Beyond public safety, I have always believed Miami Beach residents deserve a government that works with and for them, driven by results. That’s why, as Commissioner, I’ve worked to cut through government inefficiencies and make city services more accessible to residents and small businesses. That includes efforts to streamline permitting, modernize business regulations, improve the effectiveness of special magistrate hearings, and restore the Resident Connect system to improve transparency and access to city services. Miami Beach residents should never have to fight bureaucracy to receive the services they deserve.

As Commissioner, I have also championed responsible redevelopment and resilience efforts while ensuring residents’ voices shape decisions about the future of our city. During my first term, I fought to convert transient properties into residential spaces, strengthening our neighborhoods and improving quality of life, and championed efforts to protect Miami Beach from flooding — while also ensuring proposed solutions do not negatively impact private property owners. As your City Commissioner and a longtime member of the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL), I have been proud to protect our city’s historic and cultural identity, because development must reflect the values and vision of the people who call Miami Beach home.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together. Now, I’m running for re-election to build on the progress we’ve made. I’m committed to bringing pragmatic, solutions-based leadership to City Hall, doubling down on our fight to make Miami Beach a place where residents’ needs come first, where public safety is prioritized, and where local government is transparent and accountable.

I have long been active in our community, serving on the boards of the local chapter of the World Affairs Council, the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. My professional background in strategic marketing and business development has given me a results-driven approach to governance — cutting inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and ensuring tax dollars are used effectively to drive progress for our community and solve problems for our residents and local businesses.

Miami Beach deserves elected leaders who listen, take action, and deliver real results. I am running a grassroots campaign because I believe in a city where residents come first, where families feel safe, businesses can thrive, and our community continues to flourish. With your help, we can keep Miami Beach moving in the right direction, together.
