In addition to art exhibits, Art Basel has become a hot bed for music with some amazing talent coming into town for the weeklong event that we also call Music Basel. Leading the way are party organizers PL0T and Link Miami Rebels, which will host amazing talent for the week. Wednesday, November 30 at Trade
Link Miami Rebels kicks-off their Art Basel festivities with ELLUM AUDIO Showcase featuring label founder, artist (and from Miami!) Maceo Plex with Rebolledo and the Miami debut of Convextion live & North Lake.
Also, that night is the Resident Advisor at Art Basel party. Resident Advisor has a long history of hosting events in Miami, but this will be their first showcase during the art fair. They will kick off the week on Wednesday night, collaborating with PL0T and Poplife. Acts include: Floating Points, The Black Madonna and a DJ set from LA artist Dâm-Funk.
Thursday, December 1 at Little River Studios
This is OUR FAVORITE night of the week… Celebrating its 5th year happening in Miami, the Life And Death Party continues to push new boundaries, innovative sounds, and promises to have the most stunning and packed line up of quality electronic artists in the city. After last year’s successful event, PL0T once again teams up with III Points Present for the showcase. The venue this year is the Little River Studios, in the heart of the upcoming Little River district where a reimagined production design will transport attendees in an otherworldly, immersive environment scattered throughout 4 rooms until the very early hours of the morning. Little River Studios is a state-of-the-art production village used for Film and TV including an original 1880’s wood barn, two 1920’s Beach Cottages and a Beach House situated on sand with palms, as well as 2 separate warehouse spaces and a spacious courtyard. For more than 8 years, PL0T has been a major contributor to the Underground Dance Music Scene in Miami promoting events in the cities best venues and presenting a number of International acts to the area. The event will include: Âme, Damian Romero, Dj Tennis, Dorisburg Live | Miami Debut, Job Jobse, Hernan Cayetano, HVOB LIVE, Prins Thomas | Miami Debut, Taimur Agha & Fahad.
Friday, December 2 at Magic City Studios
The 10 Years Diynamic Tour is coming across the Atlantic Ocean to make five stops in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Solomun, Adriatique, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Stimming, Karmon and Magdalena will travel together to visit Mexico City, Miami, Los Angeles, Montreal and New York City to host the Diynamic label anniversary parties.
